Suburban
Lodge was chartered in 1902. It was located at the corner of 3rd Street and
Central Avenue, in Louisville, Kentucky, from 1916 until it moved to it
present location at 3901 South 3rd Street in October, 1998.
In its
early days many of Suburban Lodge's members worked for the Louisville &
Nashville Rail Road, whose Floyd St. yard and repair shop was located just
to the east of the old lodge building.
The current membership is a diverse mix from all walks of life. Suburban
Lodge is a very family orientated Lodge, with many activities for the whole
family, through out the year.
