Cherokee started a new term on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Suburban. Fourteen DeMolay from Cherokee were in attendance. New officers were installed. Scott Schwartz was installed as Master Councilor and then installed his own officers. Cody Stevens was installed as Senior Councilor. Ryan Crisp was installed as Junior Councilor. 

The installing team consisted of Past Master Councilors from Cherokee.  They were Matt Wemes., Patrick Wemes, Patrick Foster, Kevin Fautz and Ben Pifer. We had about sixty guests in attendance including Wayne Carby, Master of Suburban and Mike Shuffit, Worthy Patron of Southern Star. Also in attendance were visiting Rainbow and Jobs assemblies.  A great meal of Chicken and all the fixins’ was prepared by our hard working mother’s club and was enjoyed by all.

Cherokee is proud of Senior DeMolay’s Keith Gallai and Ben Pifer who were raised as Master Masons at Suburban. Suburban’s investment in our youth does pay off.
